Founder of Archival Ninjas, Meghan Geier has over a decade of experience in the archival world. Over the course of her career, Meghan has specialized in archival production and rights and clearance supervision, but has worked in all areas of archival including research and acquisition, fair use, budget tracking, vendor contracts and more. Her long-standing relationships with many vendors allow her to deliver the best footage and pricing, while her impressive organizational skills and proprietary tracking system maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

Julia Palermo
Archival Supervisor | Archival Producer
Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Julia got her start in TV and Film in New York after earning an MA in Media Studies at the New School. With more than10 years of experience, Julia has worn many hats in the production department and brings with her a background in journalism and a passion for documentaries, which has led her to work with archival.
Kaelin McDonald
Operations Manager | Associate Archival Producer
Los Angeles filmmaker Kaelin earned a degree in Film Production with an emphasis in Editing from California State University, Northridge. Kaelin got her start as a post-production intern and has worked notable events such as the 2019 Cannes Film Festival and 2020 Golden Globe Awards. Kaelin has since worked in post on various films and television shows, where she met Meghan and was introduced to the world of archival.
Jennifer Cook
Research Manager | Associate Archival Producer
Jennifer has traveled the world and lived in cities as far-reaching as Manchester, England, and Johannesburg, South Africa. With more than 20 years in the entertainment industry, archival work means she can combine her love of storytelling with the thrill of the hunt in cool places like museums, libraries, and yet to be discovered nooks and crannies.
Mandi Robinson
Operations Manager | Archival Producer
Mandi is TV and documentary producer and has produced shows that are seen on NBC, MTV, A&E, Food Network, and YouTube. She worked on the 2019 YouTube Original Documentary, Band Together with Logic, which premiered at SXSW and received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Innovation in Interactive Media.
Johanna Sims
Senior Coordinator | Associate Archival Producer
Johanna has diverse production experience in a vast range of projects from micro-budget independent films to a CNN documentary series. She earned a dual degree in Marketing and Business Management from Indiana University and is also a musician and music collector, with a particular passion for rare and old recordings and instruments. This love of music and history led her to what is now a decade of experience in curating and hosting the weekly radio program Hundred Proof Fountain on ArtXFM radio based in her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. Using historical context to tell stories in a modern and innovative way is one of her greatest passions and what led her to archival work.
Kyle Jackson
Senior Coordinator | Archival Researcher
Brought up in South Carolina, Kyle joined the Navy
as a Television & Radio Broadcaster and served in that capacity for five years in Maryland, Japan and Afghanistan. After his time abroad, he earned a
BA in film at California State Northridge and worked on several short films and television productions.
For his work within archival research, Kyle strives to uncover imagery that best conveys the truth in
telling a story, and hopes to continue carrying that passion with him as he further pursues his interests in editing and documentary filmmaking.
Alana Saad
Systems and Workflow Coordinator | Archival Producer
Alana is a proud Chicagoan and documentary producer who moonlights as a spreadsheet specialist. Since joining the Ninjas, she has designed a formula-based tracking system that brings a sense of organizational "magic" to every project. Beyond her passion for efficient workflows, Alana's ultimate ninja warrior comes out whenever she's able to combine her love for archival storytelling with her eye for creative problem-solving. Her philanthropic efforts include ending the stigma that Chicago is "windy" and that deep dish is better than a NY slice.
Christine Navarrete
Coordinator | Associate Archival Producer
Christine is a visuals producer with 15+ years of experience in photo, video and creative content across digital and broadcast. She earned her degree in Journalism from California State University, Long Beach. She started her career at E! News before moving on to the Emmy Award winning news show, Extra TV. Her relationships with photo agencies, photographers and producers have led her to become well-versed in negotiating and budgeting rights and clearances. Christine is a proven producer who manages projects efficiently while maintaining the highest level of production standards.
Brittany Nisco
Senior Research Analyst | Archival Researcher
Previously a professional dancer and indie rock band tour manager, Brittany always knew that movies and TV were the ultimate goal. She is a writer, director, and producer, with work on Good Morning America (ABC), NBC, E!, HGTV, TLC, and CBS. Her features and shorts have been on screens all around the world at both big screens at festivals and smaller screens via streaming services. Her love for documentaries, especially music docs, is what led her to archival work.
Audrey Saca
Analyst | Archival Production Assistant
Audrey is a Los Angeles filmmaker who earned her degree from California State University Northridge in FIlm Production with an emphasis in Cinematography. There she wrote and directed her senior thesis film Un Día Más Un Día Menos where she became an HFPA fellow. She enjoys creating and collaborating with others to bring a project to life. Audrey has worked on many film projects and strives to help tell stories from underrepresented communities.
Ben Ashby
Analyst | Archival Production Assistant
Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona,
Ben stayed local for college and earned a degree in Film and Media Production at Arizona State University.
After graduating, he moved to Los Angeles to further his career in the film industry and became involved in archival work due to his passion for research and learning.
